thanks for the info... I would like to get up there some time soon. are the noise regulations as strict as they were last year? if so any pointers on what I need to do to make my bike legal?

ok well 1st question .. takes us about .... 2 hours to get to the race track in seattle towing a 20 foot trailer with a whimpy avalanche... probably not the best truck to tow the trailer with but hey its not my truck haha... so its really a lot shorter drive then i thought.. and thats about how long it is from seattle raceway to mission raceway in regards to noise you have to meet a 88DB which really isn't that hard i run after marked headers with ... "stock" can and i'm fine.. most newer bikes will probably meet it and if it doesn't guys at the track sell exhaust plugs for like a couple bucks. for practice days full after markets and fine .. and for race day your only aloud to run an after market can if you run superbike. but after market headers are aloud all the time. for information on the july 20th date go to www.westcoastsuperbikeschool.com its a track day put on by one of the race schools. and the august 5th and 6th date are WMRC events. but ya if you guys get a bigger group together for like a trip up i'll talk to the executive and see if i can get a discount or something.. they'd prolly just be happy to see american money haha .. mind you.. its not so good anymore ..ohhh burn..

Not as fast and flowing as Seattle. But real fun and technical!

I would consider it but I heard that the noise restrcitions are harsh.

I'm busy enough and just too lazy to change my pipes (along with all the other preparation) for one weekend of racing

True or false about the noise?

I race a Aprilia and sv. Both are twin cylinders and relatively loud.

You wouldn't make it Allister. The SV requires a stock exhaust ( anything under a 750 requires a stock exhaust system ) and the priller would't pass the 88 db limit. The bike also has to be prepped with sound deadening material in the fairing, around the airbox, behind the front sprocket cover, etc, etc. Registration AND pre-payment HAS to be made 2 weeks in advance or get hit with a $50 late fee. There are no money races this year for our bikes. Never having been there before you will start at the back of the pack regardless of where you finish in the qualifier races. It's a pretty slow track with lots of brake usage but pretty fun. There are a couple of concrete walls next to the track but discretion should prevent any mishaps. Last year I won 18 out of 20 races along with 2 championships, and had a ball in the process, but decided to pass this year for the above reasons.

i'm not 100% sure but i belive the club is trying to help compensate for outside riders coming in to race. also the fairing lining stuff i don't think is manditory this year if you meet the noise thing.. lots of guys aren't running it this year also with afer market exhuast lots of guys have been running them .. i'd just email an executive to check
