This was my first time running a camera on my bike and I caught a GREAT battle between my dad and I in the TFS race on Sunday (Father's day).
This video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFYIR0P7YYo) shows the last 3 laps, check it out!
Also feel free to give me pointers about lines, brake points, etc. I'm always trying to get faster and I always appreciate good advice!

Love it. I so much would love to play with you guys on the track. I am rebuilding my SV right now but am uncertain about hitting the track again, (even though I really want to very badly).

Nice video, and thanks for posting! Looks like you had some close chances to pass under from 5 to 6.
Good race, you were right there putting on the pressure.
Better that than forcing the Simocelli!

Awesome, I hope you can make it out again, we need more SVs on the grids!

Do it! They are a lot of fun.

Thanks! I kept wanting to pass him on the inside of 4 or the bus stop, sometimes I thought I could squeeze by between 5 & 6.
I definitely didn't want to pull a Simoncelli on my dad though, a blocking pass is one thing but I couldn't quite make anything stick this time! I need a few more HP so he doesn't gap me so badly on every straight away...

Eric, it was nice of you to let your dad beat you since it was fathers day and all.. :)
Not sold on the passing in 5/6 but you could have kept on his tail and easily passed in T9 as you brake later.
He certainly has a few HP on you, I have some R110 I won't be using if you're interested, not sure if it'd make a difference but I bet Dave would know. I swear by the SD-16 I got from Dave L., after the tune on my R6 I understand why it's worth the $$$
Side note; kudos for racing clean, as you could have passed a few times but it would have been sketchy.

Haha yes, that's exactly what I told him!

I've passed him between 5 & 6 before because he used to swoop out wider to take 6 but after I passed him there a few times he started taking a tighter line and I couldn't quite squeeze past.

Hmmm... that is tempting, I'd have to sneak it into my tank without him noticing... haha. Can I run that on a stock engine without a tune? I'd still like to be able to run pump gas for track days etc.
And yeah, I figured I shouldn't take my dad out with a sketchy pass on Father's day. I generally try to keep it clean, it is just club racing.

Dave has always suggested running 50/50 mix of pump and R110 and I don't think you'd need it tuned for it.. but I'd ask Dave

Cool, I'll have to ask him about it. It would definitely be worth a try for the races.
