Ok I am having no luck on a response on Gixxer.com forum...so I am going to try it here. Have a few ?'s about the new gixxer...Im brand new to Suzuki's so go easy on me.

1. What is the stock gearing? (front and rear)
2. Seems like a lot of guys are going -1 in the front for the street, but what are you guys doing that track/race them?
3. Are you guys using Power Commander, EMS or TRE? (read about TRE, but I want to maintain the gear indicator)
4. What are in your opinion the first have to mods? (I'm thinking brake lines and pads, gearing, steering dampner, rear sets, case cover and etc. Pipe would definitly be last)
5. Is there a downloadable (preferably free) service manual?

The GSXR600K6 series are great bikes,

Question 1&2 Stock gearing is real close at Pacific on Pirelli/Mich. tires bit tall with Dunlops

The P.C. are having problems with the GSXR600/750K6's I would hold off on that. Don't bother with a TRE GPS Mod. and EM pro's are $1100!! just go the Factory Teka route for now.

Get your forks done and a decent shock on it and set your chassis up. You will need case covers for racing - hit up Billet Tech. Brake lines are a good idea, stock pads are pretty good, steering dampner would be towards the end of your list.

If your on a budget gut the Cat. out of your mid pipe and map it for Supersport fuel - if you can afford an exhaust put a Leo Vince full system on it.

I have a hard time getting even the factory manuals with the new Suz. publishers - let alone free downloads, what do you what to know?

I have no main ??'s right now on the bike as far as MX goes. I just know how convient it is to have the manual. I use the one for my 1000rr all the time.

This bike is mainly going to be a toy for the rest of this year ad be my main track/race bike for 07. Thanks for all the help.

I lucked out getting a shop manual for the 600/750's, Suzuki switched publishers this year and I had a manual on Order for 4 months! Someone should burn one to CD and start selling them on Ebay any day now.
