Exhaust question

Just curious will 00-03 gsxr 600/750 exhausts (full systems) fit the 04/05's??? (i.e., Akrapovic, Yosh, M4, Leo Vince, etc....)

I know that manufactures will list different part#'s but sometimes they are the same thing.

Anyone know???

I am not 100% sure but I dont' think the newer bikes fit, they came with the low exhuast system, so its a completely different setup than the older bikes with the cans in the proper spot.

It depends if they use a support bracket on the mid pipe. Some: Hindle,Akra.,etc. do not others like Yosh. do. Having said that you can
usually interchange a 00-03 system with a 04-05 - Some bolt right on!

so it depends on the brand then....good to know. It just seems that you can get better deals for the older stuff and or people sell them more often. Hey Speeddealer.....What do you charge to supersport an 04' 750???

Find an older Akra. Evo or Race on Ebay for (hopefully with some rash) I'll cut down the can (with the rash!). Do a basic Supersport build $750+- racer pricing including parts. And you will have a great ride. Though, if it has a bunch of hard hours on it you may want to split the cases and check out the tranny.
