Sponsorship

Was just wondering how some of you guys are getting started are getting ANY sponsorship deals to help off set this lovely habbit we all have. Any help and advice would be great.

Rick was great and approached me but...

Ask yourself the question, "How can I advertise for my sponser?" and pitch the answer to them.

I personally need to get off my butt, get faster and look for more sponsers. Hell my sister works in PR...I have no excuse!

Lockhart Phillips Team Privateer is great. Lot's of selection and great prices. Easy to get a sponsorship too however I think they stopped taking applications for the 06 season.

A local dealership in Lacey has been giving me a decent discount, all I do in return is talk about him for when and where to get bike parts and the extra support he gives me to anyone who asks. It isn't like a full-fledged factory support, but the local support sometimes feels better because of the local connection.

I am trying to talk to Hinshaws Motorcyle shop since I bought the bike from them and go tothem for local parts and etc, but they said they havent started sponsoring road racing yet..only dirtbikes.

Thanks Steve...I will have to check out the LP stuff. Never hearts to have ANY discounts...especially for tires and etc.
