Pit Bikes

Me and my buddies are thinking about getting some of those bad ass little 125cc pit bikes. I've seen some people have them out at the track. Just wanted some input and what the best brand for the buck is. I'm finding tons of brands - from the chinese $400, to the pro $3G's +. I know inverted shocks are good and chinese is bad :-) - looking about 1G or less if possible for something thats not a piece.
