Supermoto trackday this Saturday!

Hey just wanted to throw a feeler out there. Theres a group headed to PGP ( www.pacificgp.com ) this Saturday. If you've ever been out to PGP, you know they typically run a morning/afternoon format. Swapping between karts and supermoto. Saturday, January 1st, I spoke with Juli the owner, and they will be running all day, 1 price. $50 for members, $75 for nonmembers. Come on out if you have a supermoto! Even if its your first time. Would be an absolute blast. We'll have a few newbies out there. This isnt racing, just everyone getting out and stretching the winter legs. So dont drink too heavily on new years eve, and wake up at a decent time and head on down to PGP. Anytime will work. We'll likely be down there around 10am.

Yes! See you there Chris. Got my YZ waterpump fixed last night, tightened the last bolt just as it started to snow on me. (found it easier to work on it right in the back of the truck) versus on the ground. Gotta rig some home made footpeg sliders, and we'll have the DRZ and the WR250 ready as well. So 3 SM's comin from our house alone

Im gonna head to home depot for some threaded rod, and target, for some skateboard wheels. I havent gotten those two bikes prepped. Lot to do still for Saturday.

walmart has skateboards for 9 dollars. 4 "slider pucks" for 9 bucks!

1/4" all thread, for 2 bikes and the nuts and washers, 5 bucks.

Hey everyone, thanks for coming out. Was great to see so many wmrra folks and trackdayers, come on out and just check it out, even if they didnt have a bike. Really made the day that much better to have people around! The paddock was full with SM bikes/karts/friends. First tiem i've seen the entire area full in the winter months.

My buddy Jason Walker was out there taking photos. I'll load some once he has them up. Or he will sign in and upload some. :thumbsup:

Yea it was a great turnout. That was my first time seeing the SM's on the track. I think I am going to start looking for a bike myself.

It was also great to get to meet some of the road racers. I have to say ever one I met was really friendly and willing to answer any questions I had about the up and coming racing season.

My worst part of the track. The "horseshoe" as Ryan calls it. Its a 200 degree, kinda flat/off camber turn. You're supposed to late apex this turn, but it sucks you in, EVERYTIME. And Everytime Ryan was behind someone, he'd squirt through the inside doing what he told everyone to do. :rave:

I had a waterpump that needed some lovin. And i was in teh dirt setup. Basically, i was just lazy. All set now i guess. :nuts:
