I wanted to thank everyone that came out and raced / volunteered to help make this a great weekend. It was ridiculously hot out there but we still had a great time.
Special thanks to:
The entire WMRRA Race staff - it is apparent that John's letter and the concerns of the club are not only being heard but there is action being taken to implement changes in order to make things safer for everyone.
XLSR / TIM O' - thank you for some excellent grub and socializing on Saturday night, we need to make this a regular Saturday night event....
and.... to all of you that helped me find bits and pieces to put the humpty dumpty SV back together for Sunday's races.... I have read stories about how people will come out of the woodwork to help get a fellow racer back on the grid, but this was the first time that I experienced it first hand. I was blown away by how many people were willing to help me work on the bike and find parts to get it back on the grid the following day. WAY COOL!!! thank you all!
