Here's a compilation of on board and track side video i got. I was lucky enough to borrow a very nice camera from a friend (Cannon XL1) and got some very pretty stuff from track side, sometimes. I feel pretty comfortable with my still camera, but I've got a lot to learn about a fully manual video cameras. Next time:)

Fucking AWESOME!!!

That is one sweet ass video! I would speak to John Wendl about if he would like to use that for some Nesba advertising.

I agree: that was freakin' cool. How the hell did you attach an XL1 to your bike, though!? I'm picturing the half a roll of duct tape that was probably used...
And who's this friend that was cool enough to let you strap a $2700 video camera to a race bike!? Wish I had friends like that!

Keep making these.

I wish, no way:) My friend Dave and I both have little canon zr's that we mount to the bikes. The XL1 was only used for track side stuff. I basically just attached the onboard cameras and went walking around the track with the big heavy XL1. It was very cool but I need another trip to the track with that camera, lots to learn, not nearly as easy as my DSLR still camera.

Oh and thanks, it was fun and I'm sure I'll do it again.
