Looking for any info on transponders. Does WMRRA and OMRRA use the same system, and if so does anyone know where I can pick one up relatively cheap?

I have an extra one with a pouch. $140.00. Or you can have the one I currently use which works but has some damage for $100.00. Pic is of the newer one.

Can this transponder be used for both WMRRA and OMRRA? Are you doin the NESBA day on the 29th of this month? If so, I might just pick it up from you there. Ill let you know.

Does anyone know who to contact to repair the transmitter?

My wires for the battery are causing an intermittant signal.

Any suggestions,

I thought OMRRA ran on, or was going to a different set up but I don't know for sure. Nico would know.

But yeah, I'll be at Nesba on the 29th and will have both transponders there.

No, it cannot be used for WMRRA & OMRRA. OMRRA uses AMB, WMRRA uses dbcom. The two systems are not compatible.

Jay are you signed up for OMRRA novice school #2? If not, you will not be able to race OMRRA until you have completed 3 WMRRA races and have recommendation from your WMRRA mentor.

I am planning on doing the OMRRA novice school #2. The WMRRA guys are also seing if they can work with me on doing the classroom portion of teir novice clss if I take Sullivan's class on the 31st. So it is all kinda up in the ir right now what is going to happen for sure. So did you just buy 2 transponders Nico?

No, I rent AMB when @ OMRRA since I dont plan on racing every weekend down there.

Tom Young of Competition Motors rents the AMB transponders for $65 / weekend and is at the OMRRA events, he's at 503 320 2475.
