Hello Everyone,
After a very sad and painful first weekend of racing, I am very happy to announce that WMRRA Racer Chris Armantrout #177 who was Air lifted on Saturday will be going home today!
Chris had sustained some potentially serious injurers and was being held in ICU for two days. The Doctors and staff at Harborview have been working hard for us this weekend. It is great news that Chris and Tatiana will be going home today. Chris will be on light duty for 4 weeks and like a racer cant wait to get back out to the track.
Chris and Tatiana would like to thank everyone at WMRRA for their prayers and the many people that helped with their trailer and belongings.
A big THANK YOU from Chris to the staff who helped him at the crash site he and Tatiana are very thankful for the way they were treated.
Chris is a racer who comes from California, He has raced with many organizations. This was his first time racing with us and you made him feel like part of our family, Way to go WMRRA!

Chris, I am so glad you are heading home! I enjoyed meeting you at 2-fast and was happy to see your trailer in the pits Saturday morning. I was behind you Saturday when the accident happened and I thought about you the rest of the day. So relieved when I heard you were doing ok. I hope to see you soon!

This is great news! Chris stopped me to introduce himself on saturday morning. A class act, i'm glad to see he is recovering well. Always nice to see strangers packing up his stuff and his trailor. I think he and his wife will be suprised when they see the wmrra staff and racers, had packed away his belongings. See you soon Chris.

I just wanted to put a big THANK YOU out to my new family here at WMRRA!
The hospitality that you have shown to my girlfriend Tatiana and me has been amazing.
-Thanks to the corner workers, ems and staff that ensure a rapid and safe response when we run out of talent/traction in the middle of a turn.
-Thank you to all of the fellow racers/spectaors that packed up my bike, tools and trailer in a blink of an eye.
-Thanks to Tim for getting our trailer back to Bremerton for us.
-Thank you to Chaplain Joshua for your prayers and the hours you spent with us in the hospital.
A special thank you to Katie who drove Tatiana to the hospital, took care of Porter (our puppy) and spent numerous hours with us at the hospital over the last couple of days. Because of you it was possible for us to focus solely on recovery and rest.
Thanks to anyone I forgot to mention and all of you who have offered assistance.
Thanks to my girlfriend Tatiana, for putting up with this insanity that we call motorcycle racing and for being more supportive than I could have imagined.
Chris Armantrout #177
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Claud Jinks.

Chris joined us at the monthly XLSR meeting last night and it was very good to see him there and in good spirits. His girlfriend was even talking about buying an R1 to ride as well !
