So i'm down in portland and there are talks of relocating PIR or possibly shutting it down. Then I come home and learn that Spokane lost there insurance for a track day and has been in trouble for some time. If we lose even one of these tracks it would be horrible. Granted I've never been to Spokane, however I think it would suck to have only one track locally to run on! Has anyone herd any updates to this situations?

There is a bright side as there is another track going in near Portland.

Personally I wouldn't be holding my breath for good news.

Yup, once again citizens owning homes near a RACE TRACK and then bitching about the noise. I know a bunch of the N. Portland businesses are getting together with regards to this matter. There is more info on the OMRRA forums. This would be a huge hit to N. Portland area economics, not to mention the 50+ Million the state park brings in a year I think it is.
