E-Mail Lists

There are two distinctly different email lists serving the WMRRA community:

  • WMRRA-Announce@micapeak.com — the official list for important announcements.
  • WMRRA@micapeak.com — an unofficial list for anyone interested in discussions relating to the club's activities or racing in general. This list has pretty heavy traffic that waxes and wanes with the race season, so be prepared.

To subscribe to or unsubscribe from the WMRRA-Announce list:

Go to http://www.micapeak.com/mailman/listinfo/WMRRA-Announce and follow the instructions there.

If you sign up for the WMRRA-Announce list you will not be able to send messages to the list or reply to messages on the list. It is a one-way announcement channel and only a select few club officials can send messages to it.

To subscribe to or unsubscribe from the WMRRA list:

Go to http://www.micapeak.com/mailman/listinfo/WMRRA and follow the instructions there.

If you sign up for the WMRRA list you will be able to openly participate in the discussions. After you have signed up, you might find it advisable to "lurk" for a while before starting or contributing to discussions to get a feel for the group of users, and for what constitutes appropriate communication. Remember, you are communicating with a LOT of people, all of whom have at least one common interest - racing in the Northwest.
