Q: I am a novice; can I sign up for contingency?
A: At this time none of the Novice Races are supported by Contingency
Q: Where do I sign up for contingency?
A: Most aftermarket contingency forms are available on the race weekend between Tech and Registration. Also forms are available online at WMRRA.com under the contingency tab. Please take the time to check out how to sign up with each individual supplier.
Q: I filled out my forms, where do I turn them in?
A: Completed forms can be placed in the back of the contingency form box in the folder that says "completed forms"
Q: How do I sign up for Yamaha Contingency?
A: All the Manufacturer Contingency (ie: Buell, Yamaha, Ducati, etc.) needs to be completed online. You can find the link and forms on the WMRRA Site on the Contingency Link.
Q: The Contingency Provider requires me to have decals on my race bike, how do I get decals.
A: Decals for aftermarket venders are available near the contingency forms between registration and tech. If you are in need of Manufacturer Decals and Patches, you will most likely need to contact the vender; most will supply them to the racers at no cost.
Q: Do I need to provide my SSN # on the Contingency Form?
A: If you don’t wish to provide your SSN # on the form, I would write your telephone clearly on the form and in the SSN # field I would indicate that you would like them to call you directly for your SSN #.
Q: I forgot to turn in my Contingency Form for the last race weekend, can I still turn it in after the fact.
A: No, all Contingency Paperwork needs to be turned in before the race you are turning Contingency paperwork for.
Q: Can’t we bend the rules?
A: No! All rules and regulations of this program are provided to WMRRA by each individual sponsor. Leniency with a rule or requirement would be up to the sole discretion of the sponsor. Any dishonest behavior by a racer will be reported to the sponsor in writing.
Q: Can I send in aftermarket contingency forms directly to the sponsor?
A: No, all forms need to be sent in by the contingency coordinator. Any forms submitted to aftermarket venders without being signed off on by WMRRA will be denied by the vender and the racer could be denied any further contingency payout by the vender.
Q: Which weekends are the Sponsors paying contingency for?
A: Not all sponsors will pay at every weekend, especially the Big Manufacturers. The Big Manufacturers have their payout schedule posted on their website and this information is also provided on the WMRRA website under contingency.
Q: When is my aftermarket contingency paperwork sent in to the vender?
A: Contingency forms are submitted to the vender after the final race results are posted by the WMRRA Scoring Team.
